The ANKA Academic Research Institute is a private, non-profit learned society that brings together scholars, educators and students. As part of its goal to advance learning, facilitate communication and promote cooperation, ANKA sponsors international conferences. It is responsible for the International Journal of Social Sciences (IJSS), Journal of Social Research and Behavioral Sciences (SADAB) and Journal of Criminology Sociology and Law (JCSL). ANKA is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors elected by the membership.
